Synonym: Fluvioglacial delta landscape
This is a landscape composed of a depositional delta formed by fluvioglacial action. When the meltwater of glaciers flows into a lake, an outwash delta is formed by deposition. This type of delta is similar to a river delta, but the sediments contain glacial gravels.
