This report is one of the most important documents in an application for a national geopark. Based on the National Geopark Comprehensive Survey Report promulgated by the Ministry of Land and Resources in 2011, a detailed investigation on the geological heritage, natural environment, and historical, cultural and socio-economic conditions is needed to justify the application. The report comprises seven chapters: (1) qualifications; (2) scientific value; (3) geography; (4) regional geology; (5) landscape resource survey; (6) resource protection; and (7) geopark planning. The document should contain six geological maps and a planning outline.
