Mesozoic Era is the geologic interval that extended from 251 million to 65.5 million years ago, which covers 185.5 million years. It includes the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods. The Mesozoic Erathem includes the rocks that formed during the Mesozoic Era.
