Marine geography is a cross-disciplinary field of oceanography and geography that focuses on the spatial structure, development, and interrelationships between human activities and the marine environment. It also includes the characteristics, distribution, development, utilization and protection of marine resources. This subject can be divided into marine natural geography, marine economic geography, marine political geography and regional marine geography.
