It contains: Chapter I, General Provisions; Chapter II, Marine Environmental Supervision and Administration; Chapter III, Marine Ecological Protection; Chapter IV, Prevention and Control of Pollution Damage to the Marine Environment by Land-based Pollutants; Chapter V, Prevention and Control of Marine Pollution Damage to the Coastal Environment by Construction Projects; Chapter VI, Prevention and Control of Marine Engineering Construction Project Pollution and Damage to the Marine Environment; Chapter VII, Prevention and Control of Dumping Pollution in the Marine Environment; Chapter VIII, Prevention and Control of Marine and Related Activities Pollution Damage to the Marine Environment; Chapter IX, Law Responsibility; and Chapter X, Supplementary Provisions.
