This refers to all tourism resources in the lithosphere of the Earth. The lithosphere includes the Earth’s crust and upper mantle. The solid part of the Earth’s outer layer is the host of all tourism resources. The scenery composed of the stratigraphic layers, palaeo-biotic elements, minerals and structures of different geological ages forms tourism resources, and the geomorphological features on the lithosphere have become a geomorphological tourism resource. Another resource is the caves below the Earth’s surface. These three types of tourism resources make up the Earth’s macrosystem of lithospheric tourism resources.
