This park is located in Liancheng Town, Mengyin County, Shandong Province, at the northern foot of Mengshan Mountain, and it covers an area of 30 km2. It became a national mining park in 2005. It can be divided into five zones in accordance with their functions, including a mine tourist zone, special landscapes zone, camping zone, the Yixin Leisure and Recuperation Area and the Jinboli Entertainment Zone. Linyi is a famous old revolutionary base as well as the seat of party, government and military organisations. It contains more than 30 Red revolutionary sites and is a base to promote Red revolutionary education.
