This is a landscape consisting of landforms formed by lacustrine erosion or deposition. The main erosional features are lake erosion cliffs, lake erosion columns, lake erosion grooves and lake erosion benches. In the context of tourism landscape resources, lake landscapes also include water bodies. Lakes can be classified into tectonic lakes, fluvial lakes, glacial lakes, volcanic (crater) lakes, aeolian lakes, barrier lakes and artificial lakes. Lake landscapes are important tourism resources. For example, Qinghai Lake, Dongting Lake, Dianchi Lake, Erhai Lake, the modified West Lake in Hangzhou, Nanjing Xuanwu Lake, Wuhan East Lake, and Zhejiang Qiandao Lake are all important tourist destinations.
