Jicheng Yin (1936–) is a native of Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province. He is a professor in the School of Earth Sciences at Chengdu University of Technology, director of the academic committee of the Institute of Tourism and Urban Planning of Chengdu University of Technology, and executive director of the Sichuan Tourism Earth Science Research Institute. He has edited and co-edited eight books, three translations and published more than 50 papers. He is the first person to earn a master’s of tourism earth science and is a doctoral tutor.
