Incentive tourism is a way to reward employees in companies. A modern management technique is to award employees who have achieved certain goals with special holiday tours. Incentive tourism can also include tours for potential clients arranged by businesses whose ultimate goal is to develop a market and secure customers. Cities in China with rapidly developing incentive tourism markets are Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai.
