This nature reserve is located on the northeastern corner of Corsica Island (France) in the Mediterranean and has an area of 118 km2. As part of the Regional Natural Park of Corsica, it occupies the Scandola Peninsula, which is an impressive, porphyritic rock mass. The vegetation is an outstanding example of scrubland.
