Luxury cruise is regarded as the “mobile palace in the sea” (Yin 2012), which is the high-valued equipment for the tourism industry. It provides tourists with unforgettable sailing experiences and incredible enjoyment through its different types of facilities.

Development History

In the late nineteenth century and the early twentieth century, people traveled across the sea only by cruise ships, which just provided passengers with limited rooms and food services. With the increasing maturity of aircraft technology, in order to save time and money, many passengers choose to travel by airplane. Therefore, in the middle of the twentieth century, the cruise ship industry declined.
