Introduction

Dynamic analysis method studies the dynamic response of the mooring line under the unsteady external environmental load. Besides, this method is to investigate the design system stabilization and to identify the stress of the mooring line is within the allowable stress range, which fulfill the mooring system with the specific mooring requirements. Unfortunately, it is difficult to determine, a priori, whether a floating offshore structure-mooring system will experience important dynamic loading. This determination must be made for each design problem on the basis of environmental site conditions, floating offshore structure size, and mooring arrangement.
