“Internationalization of the curriculum” (IoC) refers to both the process by which educational institutions intentionally prepare their students for life and work in a globalized world, and the product or outcome of this process. Internationalisation of the curriculum is the incorporation of international, intercultural and global dimensions into the content of the curriculum as well as the learning outcomes, assessment tasks, teaching methods and support services of a program of study. (Leask 2015, p. 9)
