Abstract
The purpose of the present chapter is to demonstrate the utility of the property-theoretic framework for a formal reconstruction of Navya-Nyāya logic which was introduced in Guhe 2016 (Comput Sci J Moldova 24/3 (72): 312–334). Some pertinent examples have been selected, namely the Navya-Naiyāyikas’ operations applied to properties and relations, their discovery of theorems related to these operations, their account of the reference of number words, and the definition of the concept of pervasion. Several alternative methods of formalization in secondary sources are noted and critically examined.
