Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag untersucht die Zusammenhänge zwischen der Gentrifizierung und den Veränderungen der ökonomischen Strukturen in den Aufwertungsquartieren. Im Fokus der Betrachtung stehen die Praktiken der Ansiedlung und Anpassung von Unternehmen, die Entstehung von Branchenclustern, die ästhetische und semantische Gestaltung der urbanen Wirtschaftsstandorte sowie die Praktiken des Konsums. Die Veränderungen der lokalen Ökonomie sind dabei Folge als auch Antrieb der Gentrifizierung.
