Zusammenfassung
Die Eröffnung der Zona pellucida bei menschlichen Embryonen im Rahmen der assistierten Reproduktion ist eine etablierte Technik und wird insbesondere für Assisted Hatching und die Embryo- und Blastozystenbiopsie eingesetzt. Assisted Hatching soll es dem Embryo ermöglichen, zuverlässig aus der ihn umgebenden Zonahülle schlüpfen und anschließend implantieren zu können. Eine korrekte und zeitlich adaptierte Anwendung des Assisted Hatching ist Voraussetzung für das erfolgreiche Schlüpfen. Assisted Hatching kann mit verschiedenen Techniken durchgeführt werden. Der Einsatz von kontakt-freien Lasersystemen hat sich durchgesetzt, um reproduzierbare Öffnungen zu erzeugen. Aufgrund klinischer Daten kann der Einsatz des AH bei Patientinnen mit wiederholtem Implantationsversagen und unter Berücksichtigung von Transfers mit kryokonservierten Embryonen empfohlen werden. Eine Steigerung der Erfolgsraten ist nur bei einem standardisierten Vorgehen zu erwarten.
