Die Follikelpunktion ist integraler Bestandteil der assistierten Reproduktion bei IVF- und ICSI-Therapien. Nachdem initial die Follikelpunktion per Laparoskopie durchgeführt wurde, hat sich bereits vor vielen Jahren der transvaginale Zugang etabliert.
