Zusammenfassung

Das Harnblasenkarzinom zählt zu den häufigsten malignen Tumorerkrankungen weltweit. Verschiedene Untersuchungen belegen die Altersabhängigkeit und das tendenziell höhere Erkrankungsrisiko für das männliche Geschlecht. Noch immer sterben jährlich weltweit über 130.000 Menschen an diesem Tumor.
