Zusammenfassung

Die Obstipation ist eine häufige Erkrankung im Kindesalter. Bei >90–95 % der Patienten findet man keine organische Ursache. Die Therapie beinhaltet Laxanzien, diätetische Maßnahmen, Klysmen, Stuhltraining und evtl. Biofeedback-Training. Als Folge einer chronischen Obstipation kann eine Enkopresis auftreten, aber auch Beschwerden durch Marisken oder Analfissuren.
