Zusammenfassung
Sportverletzungen sind häufige Ereignisse, die nicht nur ein medizinisches Geschehen darstellen, sondern in hohem Maße durch psychologische Prozesse gekennzeichnet sind. Ursprünglich ausgehend von persönlichkeitsorientierten Ansätzen basieren die meisten Forschungsarbeiten zur Prävention heute auf einem stressorientierten Ansatz. Handlungsorientiere Konzeptionen sind die Ausnahme. In Hinsicht auf die Rehabilitation von Sportverletzungen werden in der Forschung flexible psychosoziale Anpassungsmodelle präferiert, die durch biopsychosoziale Modellansätze und Wiederverletzungsmodelle erweitert werden. Auch wenn einzelne psychologische Prozesse in der Prävention und Rehabilitation von Sportverletzungen gut belegt sind, stellen Interventionsstudien unter Realbedingungen eher die Seltenheit dar.
