Zusammenfassung

Zahlreiche Dermatosen manifestieren sich auch an der Mundschleimhaut. Die Inspektion der Mundhöhle ist integraler Bestandteil jeder gründlichen dermatologischen Untersuchung. Bei einigen Erkrankungen wie Pemphigus oder Varizellen stellen diese Manifestationen regelrechte Leitsymptome dar. Umgekehrt gibt es eine Reihe von Erkrankungen, die ausschließlich oder ganz überwiegend an der Mundschleimhaut auftreten. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Gewebsstruktur und der steten Befeuchtung durch Speichel weisen Veränderungen der Mundschleimhaut eine charakteristische Morphologie auf, die von der analoger Effloreszenzen an der freien Haut abweicht. Das Kapitel behandelt die speziellen Krankheiten der Lippen, der Zunge und der übrigen Lokalisationen in der Mundhöhle.
