Zusammenfassung
Obstruktionen der V. cava superior können durch Kompression von außen, Thrombose oder fibrotische Stenosierung verursacht werden. In etwas 75% liegt eine maligne Erkrankung zugrunde. Immer häufiger sind auch zentralvenöse Katheter,Schrittmacher- und Defibrillator-Sonden verantwortlich. Therapeutisch kommen heute meistens endovenöse Verfahren zum Einsatz (Lyse, mechanische Thrombusentfernung, PTA und Stenting). Thrombosen der V. cava inferior können aus aufsteigenden Bein- und Beckenthrombosen oder lokal entstehen. Letztere sind meistens Folge eine Kompression oder Verletzung der V. cava von außen. Nicht selten können auch kongenitale Anomalien der V. cava inferior zugrundeliegen . Thrombosen der V. cava inferior werden meistens so behandelt wie die anderen Becken- und Beinvenenthrombosen. Bei chronischen Verschlussprozessen und Versagen einer konservativen oder endovenösen Therapie kommt die chirurgische Rekonstruktion zum Einsatz.
