Zusammenfassung

Patienten mit Erkrankungen des Bewegungsapparats sind häufig durch hohes Alter, chronische Schmerzsyndrome, ein erhöhtes Risiko für thromboembolische Komplikationen sowie anästhesierelevante Begleiterkrankungen charakterisiert. Diese patienteneigenen Faktoren müssen ebenso wie die eingriffsspezifischen Risiken im Sinne einer optimalen Patientenversorgung vom Anästhesisten beachtet werden.
