Zusammenfassung
In den letzten zwanzig Jahren hat sich das Thema der Onlinekommunikation in den Public Relations (PR) vom Nischen- zum Kernthema disziplinärer Auseinandersetzung entwickelt. In diesem Beitrag geben wir einen Überblick über drei zentrale Entwürfe der Online-PR, die sich analytisch aus dieser Auseinandersetzung ableiten lassen und die wir als dialog-, nutzer- und datenzentrierte Online-PR bezeichnen. Wir zeigen für jeden Entwurf, auf welchen breiteren gesellschaftlichen Diskurs über Onlinekommunikation er fokussiert und welche Chancen und Herausforderungen er für PR-Forschung und -Praxis mit sich bringt.
