Zusammenfassung
Im Gegensatz zu idealen Gasen spielen bei realen Gasen das Eigenvolumen der Atome oder Moleküle und die Anziehungskräfte zwischen ihnen eine Rolle. Die Zustandsgleichungen des idealen Gases werden für reale Gase durch die Einführung von Virialkoeffizienten modifiziert. Das „Harte-Kugel-Modell“ des idealen Gases wird durch ein Potenzialmodell der Molekülannäherung ersetzt. Die Verdampfungsrate aus Flüssigkeiten und Festkörper wird mit Hilfe des Sättigungsdampfdrucks berechnet.
