Kausale Beziehungen zwischen sozialem Status und Gesundheit aus einer Lebensverlaufsperspektive

Zusammenfassung

Dieser Beitrag behandelt die kausalen Beziehungen zwischen Sozialstatus und Gesundheit im Lebenslauf und die Bedingungen, unter denen diese empirisch erforscht werden können. Wir benutzen retrospektive Daten des Survey of Health Aging and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) aus 10 Ländern und Strukturgleichungsmodelle im cross-lagged-panel-design. Sowohl der Sozialstatus als auch die Gesundheit hängen stark von ihrem vorherigen Zustand ab. Die gegenseitige Beeinflussung von Sozialstatus und Gesundheit nimmt im Lebenslauf zu, wobei der Sozialstatus die Gesundheit etwas stärker beeinflusst als umgekehrt.
