Zusammenfassung
Die Kammertachykardie ist eine tachykarde Herzrhythmusstörung (Herzfrequenz >100 Schläge/min) mit einem Ursprungsort der Arrhythmie im rechten oder linken Ventrikel. Bei morphologisch gleichen QRS-Komplexen spricht man von einer monomorphen, bei wechselnder QRS-Morphologie von einer polymorphen Kammertachykardie. Von einer nichtanhaltenden Kammertachykardie spricht man ab 3 konsekutiven Komplexen, die innerhalb von 30 s spontan terminieren. Ab einer Dauer von 30 s liegt eine anhaltende Kammertachykardie vor. Eine Kammertachykardie ist grundsätzlich als potenziell lebensbedrohliche Herzrhythmusstörung einzuordnen. Sie stellt die häufigste Ursache des plötzlichen Herztodes in der Bevölkerung dar.
