Medikamentöse Schmerztherapie in der Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie: Nichtopioid-Analgetika

Zusammenfassung

Als Nichtopioid-Analgetika werden chemisch heterogene schmerzlindernde Pharmazeutika bezeichnet, die ihre Wirkung – anders als Opioid-Analgetika – nicht durch Bindung an Opioidrezeptoren entfalten. Sie wirken häufig durch Hemmung der Cyclooxygenase (COX) und damit als Prostaglandin-Synthesehemmer. Die Wirkstoffe sind in unterschiedlichem Ausmaß sowohl schmerzlindernd wie auch entzündungshemmend und fiebersenkend.
