Zusammenfassung
Krankheiten der peripheren Nerven können bei Kindern wie bei Erwachsenen sehr verschiedene Ursachen haben. Akute para- sowie postinfektiöse Neuritiden und hereditäre Polyneuropathien machen jeweils etwa 1/3 der Gesamtzahl der Fälle aus. Von den chronisch verlaufenden Neuropathien sind im Kindesalter mehr als 3/4 hereditär bedingt.
