Visual servoing in aerial manipulation is a control technique based on the use of visual feedback provided by a camera onboard the vehicle, e.g., mounted on the base or on the end-effector of the robot arm, aimed at stabilizing the state of the system, i.e., the relative poses and velocities of the base and of the robot arm with respect to a target object on the ground, as well as with respect to obstacles present in the operation scene.
