Abstract

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a cornerstone of the Arab world and the Gulf Cooperation Council. Despite being a relatively young country, the UAE healthcare system has proven to be one of the highly ranked healthcare systems worldwide. Oncology care in the UAE blends a unique mixture and collaboration between public and private healthcare sectors. This chapter covers the oncology care in the UAE, and highlights the potential for growth in oncology care in the UAE, making the UAE an attractive location for medical tourism for oncology care.
