Definition
The term business education is used to denote all higher-level education in business: university business degrees, independent business schools, and management education institutions. There are two definitions of sustainability within business education. The first, and once primary, definition is the economic imperative of business to sustain itself, profitably. This has been taught in business schools everywhere since their inception. Traditionally it placed the business school on the neoliberal political “right” where the business of business was simply business.
