Economic performance represents the economic outcome or achievement of economic goals of a country or nation

Definitions

In economics, we learn that performance first integrates the notion of efficacy, that is to say, to undertake and carry out an action to an end or to obtain a certain result in accordance with a given objective. The concept of performance also incorporates the notion of efficiency, that is to say the idea that the means are used optimally. Other authors state that economic performance is the ability of a country’s macroeconomic managers to provide four services to citizens: a high level of real GDP growth, a low inflation rate, a low unemployment rate, and a high level of favorable market (Lovell et al. 1995). These four objectives represent the objectives of the economic policy known as “magic square” Kaldor’s (1970).
