Definition

Renewable energy is synonyms to clean energy, alternative energy, “green” manufacturing, and sustainable technology (Michael et al. 2017). Renewable energy resources have virtually inexhaustible nature; however, the rate of energy available at a given time is limited (Energy Information Administration 2019). The energy sources are energy supplies that are restocked naturally as often as they are consumed.

Sun is the primary source of all forms of renewable energy and can be used directly as a solar heater or indirectly as hydroelectric power, photovoltaic cells, wind power, or power from biomass fuel. Generally, renewable energy source can be depleted as its rates of consumption is more than its generation hence the need for energy conservation.
