Technical Tips and Tricks of Hemorrhoidectomy

Abstract

Surgical hemorrhoidectomy is still an important part of the treatment of prolapsed and symptomatic hemorrhoids. While it is effective in most cases, troublesome and even serious side effects may following surgery which had not been performed expertly. In this chapter, we draw from our extensive experience to highlight some tips and tricks which we believe will help surgeons obtain better results following hemorrhoidectomy.
