Introduction
Employees engaging in emergency response activities must function as a team for effective results. Teamwork requires individuals to take on specific roles and to depend on each other fulfilling their obligations in that role while addressing a problem or a mission. A successful team, one that can respond to a crisis and create a positive outcome, is not difficult to create; however, it does take commitment, training, and the ability of the team members to develop skills together in order to function as a unit.
