Definitions

Bureaucracy is an excessively complex administration procedure or a system of governance in which most decisions are taken by stated officials instead of elected representatives. Media represent mechanisms of mass communication (broadcasting, publishing, and the Internet).

Introduction

Over the past decades, the liberalization of information and communication technology (ICT), especially in many developing countries, has led to a multitude of positive development externalities. One such consequence is the improvement in governance and decrease of bureaucracy (Asongu et al. 2018b).
