Definition
Municipal Public Procurement is the mechanism used by governmental organizations purchases products and services to enable the operation of their activities and the provision of services to the population.
Introduction
The central theme of this entry is the potential of the use of purchasing power, especially in the scope of municipal public power and its impact on sustainable development. It is an exercise of combining operational activities with strategic objectives of public policies propitiating a repercussion in the dynamics of the local society perceived in the sustainable development.
