Definitions
- Corruption :

This is a well-calculated transactional process involving the exploitation of public authority for personal or sectional advancement at the expense of the larger society; corruption may boost a person’s or a group’s economic position or noneconomic status.
- Transaction :

This is a bargaining process that involves two or more parties negotiating on which items or kinds of favors to be offered in order to bend public sector procedures, processes, or institutions. It normally ends up with the “giver” receiving skewed service from a public officer.
- Corrupter :

This is an entity that attempts or accepts to offer/promises to accept to offer an item/service of economic or noneconomic value to a public officer in order to receive skewed service or for public sector procedure to be bent. It is the supply side.
- Corruptee :

This is the public officer who makes a demand or accepts an offer from...
