Definition

An e-Government Procurement (e-GP) is the collaborative use of information and communications technologies by government agencies, bidding community, regulatory and oversight agencies, other supporting service providers, and civil society in conducting ethical procurement activities of the government procurement process cycle for the procurement of goods, works, and services, and management of contracts ensuring good governance and value for money in public procurement, and contributing to the socioeconomic development of country (Shakya 2015, p. 141).
