Ethics and public administration in Latin America is the manner in which the ethical dimension of public employees unfolds, in terms of group behaviors, organizational and cultural traits, and individual actions, particularly, related to the presence or lack of corruption and/or integrity.

Introduction
The topic of ethics and public administration in Latin America can be analyzed from many points of views. Without any doubt, it is, or it should be, one of the key issues in the public administration domain in the region. The fact that in the last 3 years several presidents of the region have been involved in cases of corruption, and a few of them even have been prosecuted because of the role they played in the allocation of public resources, is a clear expression of how difficult to address yet crucially important this topic is to the region.
