Definition

The International Labour Organization defines sexual harassment as a sex-based behavior that is unwelcome and offensive to its recipient. It is an unwanted sexual advance or an unwelcome conduct or request for sexual favor especially at the workplace and includes sexual conduct in which a reasonable person would have anticipated that the victim would be offended, humiliated, or intimidated or the person, alone or together with other persons, engages in conduct of a sexual nature which creates a hostile or intimidating environment for the victim.
