Endoscopic Treatment of Craniosynostosis

Abstract

The premature fusion of calvarial sutures or craniosynostosis is a well-known cause of deformational changes to the skull. It has an estimated frequency of 0.4 of 1000 live births and the majority of them consist of isolated single suture defects (Hunter and Rudd 1976).
