Definition

Benign proliferation of small ducts and gland-like structures in the walls of the vas deferens or epididymis (Easley and MecLennan 2006).

Clinical Features

  • Incidence

It is frequent from 1 to 15 years after vasectomy. It may occur after trauma, unrelated surgery or obstruction (Algaba et al. 2007).

    Third, fourth, and fifth decades.

  • Sex

    Male.

Spermatic cord or epididymis; unilateral but rarely bilateral.

    Excellent

Firm gray-white nodule less than 1 cm.
