Early Life and Educational Background

Nave was born on February 2, 1982, in Syracuse, New York. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina, in 2004 and his M.A. in General Experimental Psychology from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 2006. He earned his Ph.D. in Social-Personality Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, in 2011 under the mentorship of David Funder.

Professional Career

Nave has been affiliated with Rutgers University, Camden, since 2011 as an assistant professor in psychology. As a junior scholar, he has authored over 20 publications during his career. Publication outlets include the European Journal of Personality, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Journal of Research in Personality, and Social Psychological and Personality Science.
