Arkhangelsk Military Flotilla (Fleet) – was the Russian Fleet, established in 1734 to defend Arkhangelsk wharfs, to keep the watch in the White Sea and to assist customs. It mostly consisted of oar-propelled ships. In 1801, the fleet composed of six battle boats and 30 karbas was divided into three groups, patrolling the Berezovoe, the Murmanskoe, and the Nikolaevskoe estuaries of the river Northern (Severnaya) Dvina. The flotilla existed until 1862.
