Anzer Island (also Anzersky Island) – is a part of the Solovetsky Islands Archipelago, the White Sea which is located on the western part of the Eastern Solovetsky Salma and is divided from the Bolshoi Solovetsky and the Bolshaya Mukslama Islands by the Anzerskaya Salma Strait. The Anzer Island is an upland covered with dense mixed forest, except its eastern part. The sandy, stony shores are embayed by bays; the most prominent among them are the Guba Troitskaya in the north and the Guba Kapel’skaya in the south. The island is partly fringed with foreshore.
