A. was signed by Denmark, Iceland, Canada, Norway, Russia, USA, Finland, and Sweden. The agreement consists of 20 articles and appendices. The objective of the agreement is to enhance cooperation and coordination in the area of aeronautical and maritime search and rescue in the Arctic.
