Mark A. Blais is a senior psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and faculty member of Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a clinical psychologist who provides psychological assessment services while also conducting research into (1) normal and abnormal personality, (2) personality assessment, and (3) the interplay of psychological and neurocognitive factors in effective life functioning.
Early Life and Educational Background
Mark Blais was born on November 24, 1956, in Barre, Vermont. He earned his B.S. in psychology from Cortland State College (SUNY Cortland) in 1979 and his M.A. in clinical psychology from Towson State University in 1981. He earned his Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University of Florida in 1990 where he studied with Bady Quintar, PhD., a Menninger-trained ego psychologist.
